difference between truth and validity

In symbolic logic the notions of truth and validity are clearly different .
The truth semantics is a notion that refers to a relationship between an expression and a state of affairs. Taking a
propositional form, as it has no semantic meaning refers to the world, although logical meaning, the truth concerning possibilities, the possibility of being true in any interpretation.
For example, p and q, will be true in any interpretation where p is true q is also true, and only then .
Another way to say is that the propositional form is true in every possible world where p and q on the other side are true.
A tautology, then, is a true statement in every possible world, which means it is impossible to have an interpretation (under the principle of contradiction) which is false.
The validity instead is a formal property of a form or structure of reasoning , defined as the inability of the premises are true and the conclusion is false for any interpretation possible under the law of contradiction.
