Being honest means being honest, but to be honest, one has to know well. Knowing what to want and need. Know who you are, beyond the opinions of others.
Honesty also has to do with the truth. I am what I am. What I have is just what I have, not what I am. In the consumer society has installed the idea that what we have. And if anyone thinks that will achieve happiness when "tenga" todo lo que quiere o necesita... se equivoca. Por que el deseo de tener cosas nunca se acaba. Siempre aparecerá "algo" nuevo. Por el contrario, si me preocupo por saber quién soy, cuáles son mis defectos y cuáles mis virtudes, cuál es mi lugar en el mundo, para qué sirve mi existencia, empezaré a encontrarle un sentido a mi vida, que va más allá de cualquier cosa que pueda tener.
Si descubrimos eso, seremos libres.
