logical connectives Truth Tables what are they?

The method of truth tables is a procedure that is used in propositional logic to display all possible values of truth that can take a propositional form.
As truth values are two, each constituent a propositional form will have a truth value: the propositional letters and connectives, and under the main connective display the value for each substitution.
The substitution is a unique assignment of truth values to propositional letters . For example, suppose we have p and q. In this situation, a substitution will be when p is true and q true, another substitution is when p is false but q true, and so the four possibilities.
The result truth table will, then the total of the possibilities expressed in four rows, the result for each row will be under the main connective, which in this case is the "conjunction" and depend on the table or meaning of the connective itself.
